Victory Generation Education Center as at now has three full-time teachers a cook and a security guard and a part-time student teacher totaling six paid staff. And since most of the our teachers are not university student but grade 12 graduates, we plan to have them enroll in university courses for them to upgrade and to better help the children.

The first time we met No Nhel, he was living on the mountain of the women located at Boskhnor village. This is a Buddhist worship sight and here Mr. No which was his common name at that time lived with his girlfriend the priestess of the mountain of the women. He was introduced to us by an American who at that time worked as a nurse at the Boskhnor village hospital. Mr No was teaching this American and the only foreigner in the village before our arrival Khmer. With the monthly payment he received from teaching he planted banana on a large scale around the mountain, and as the banana plantation grew so does people who wanted to take over the mountain from him. But because of his girlfriend the parents and the elders could not even do anything to him, until the term of the American was over and needed to leave the village to return to America.
After the American left and there was no more income from teaching but needed to rely on the banana plantation, it was there he begun to experience persecution from the father-in-law and the elders who are in charge of the mountain. It sometimes even got physical and Mr. No needed to get police attention. But because he came from another province Kampot, he could not win the case, at last came down from the mountain and to find ways to make a living. Meanwhile, he still had affair with the priestess.
It was during this time of confusion, hopelessness, betrayed, abandoned, that is when he begun coming close to us. I first shared the LORD with him and he refused because he is a Buddhist. However, I faithfully helped him financially, and he came to work on the property we were using at that time for school, so that he could at least earn something from the help he gives us. During those days I had a team from Germany and Thailand visiting at the same time. And Mr. No followed us wherever the team will go to do ministry in the village and even outside the village. During the two weeks the team were there, one of the team member from Thailand who was formerly a Buddhist shared how she accepting Christ has brought peace to her life and getting married to Christian. Mr. No gave his heart to the LORD on that day and his life have never been the same from that day forward. The LORD asked me to change his name to John, so that is why we call him John. After experiencing salvation I have seen his life changing from nothing to a place that we bought the school property with him, he receives the highest salary among the teachers, he is enrolled in online Bible school, and next year we plan to send him to University to improve his career as a teacher.
After his salvation the priestess left him for another man, but God who had a plan for John and allowed all these things to happen for him to reach out to His savior knew John whiles in his mothers womb. I had the privilege to officiate his engagement to a beautiful Christian girl, and as of today John's passion for his new found faith is forever growing. Thanks be to God.
